Please read these terms carefully. They govern your use of Tragent and define the rights and responsibilities of both parties.
By creating an account or otherwise accessing Tragent, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy; if you do not agree, you may not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to use Tragent, and these terms apply equally to free and Pro subscribers. Tragent provides a web-based trading discipline platform, including a live session dashboard, rules engine, trade logging, analytics, and related tools ("the Service"). The Service evolves over time and we may add, change, or discontinue features at our discretion; where a change is material, we will provide reasonable advance notice.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, and you must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate registration information, keep it current, and never share, sell, or transfer your account to another person. You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, to interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure, to attempt unauthorized access to any system or data, to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service, or to transmit malicious code. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice, at our discretion.
Pro subscriptions renew automatically on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing cycle at the then-current price; we will give you notice before a price increase takes effect on your plan. Prices are shown in USD and exclude applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout. You can cancel at any time from Account Settings — your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing period, and we do not prorate refunds for partial periods. We offer a seven-day refund window from your first charge, honored in full on request within that window; refunds for later billing periods are evaluated case by case. The Service, including its software, design, text, and graphics, is the exclusive property of Tragent and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws; these terms grant you no right to use our name or branding without written permission. Your trading data remains your property at all times — we claim no ownership over it. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to operate the Service for you, and if you send us feedback or suggestions, you agree we may use them freely and without compensation to you.
Some features of the Service use your device microphone and third party artificial intelligence providers. The voice copilot requires microphone access, which you grant through your browser, and streams your audio to a third party realtime voice provider to run the live conversation; the chat assistant sends your messages and account context to a third party model provider to generate responses. These are convenience tools and, like the rest of the Service, they do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. AI generated responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and you are solely responsible for independently verifying anything before you act on it. You may use the Service without enabling voice, and you can revoke microphone access at any time in your browser settings. Your use of these features is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what is processed and by whom.
Tragent is a discipline and journaling tool. It is not a financial advisor, broker-dealer, or investment service, and it is not affiliated with any exchange or brokerage. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and no part of it should be relied on as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or instrument. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone; past performance does not guarantee future results, and you alone are responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAGENT AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE. You agree to indemnify and hold Tragent harmless from any claim, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any right of a third party.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for a violation of these terms; you may close your account at any time from Account Settings. Upon termination your right to use the Service ends immediately, and you may request deletion of your data in line with our Privacy Policy. These terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from them will first be pursued through good-faith negotiation and, failing that, through binding arbitration on an individual basis rather than as a class or collective action, except where such a waiver is not permitted by law. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect, and these terms — together with our Privacy Policy — represent the entire agreement between you and Tragent regarding the Service. We may update these terms at any time; material changes will be notified by email or an in-app notice, and continued use after they take effect constitutes your acceptance.
